Mr. Uner leads the design of the Redwall Mobile technology platform. He is the lead contact within Redwall for all technical discussions. He has an active role in business development and marketing, and delivers both high-level and deeply technical presentations to C-level executives and fellow security experts alike. Mr. Uner is also the company's government technical liaison, and participates in classified and unclassified reviews of current mobility requirements from the US Department of Defense. He is also an active participant in the technical development of Redwall Mobile, and has designed and authored cryptographic and other security modules such as those for password and key storage, device integrity, and secure communications.

Mr. Uner was most recently the Chief Architect of Secure Products at PCTEL Secure (a wholly owned subsidiary of PCTEL, Inc.). Mr. Uner is an industry-recognized scientific expert in the areas of embedded systems and information security. His research into applying biological defense models to computer systems and chaos theory led to the patented algorithms used in the HYDRA cyber-defense appliance targeted at the Defense and Intelligence markets. His work, including his software vulnerability equation, has been published in journals internationally. He holds patents in the area of information security, including random sequence algorithms, methods for tamper protecting critical data in non-volatile memory, and mobile security. He is a sought-after expert in his field, and has been profiled in publications such as Electronic Engineering Times.

Mr. Uner has over 18 years of experience developing secure embedded systems as well as secure, high-performance enterprise-scale applications. He invented and led the development of an information security product described as "a paradigm shift in server technology" in an evaluation that involved Federal agencies and integrators. He co-founded and grew a software consulting firm to $6 million in nearly 2 years, resulting in a Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 Award ranking.

Mr. Uner orchestrated and designed one of the largest scale ethical hacks for a popular automotive electronics product. This attack involved using a wireless protocol to take control of a system by reprogramming its processor's memory management and serial communications software. Mr. Uner also conducted research at Motorola's Security and Privacy Technology Lab, entailing high-assurance technology, processor architectures, cryptography, security protocols/application of security concepts for mobile electronics and other industries under government contract.

Mr. Uner holds a BS in Computer Engineering from, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, 1990, and has an active Top Secret DoD security clearance.
